Liothyronine is a man-made form of thyroid hormone.
Liothyronine is used to treat an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism). It replaces or provides more thyroid hormone, which is normally made by the thyroid gland.
Liothyronine sodium is also widely used in psychiatric circles. When combined with other drugs, T3 can be fairly effective in the treatment of major depressive disorders.
Editor’s Note: You can buy “Liothyronine (T3)” from our top recommended source.
How it works?
In simple terms, when you use synthetic T3, you are increasing your overall thyroid hormone levels, which causes metabolism to speed up. Unfortunately, when you do this, your body will stop producing T3 naturally until you cease usage of Cytomel and the body recovers.
A similar situation occurs when bodybuilders inject testosterone that suppresses natural production of testosterone in their bodies.
Very high levels of T3 will stress the heart and can be dangerous, so correct dosages are very important.
Hyperthyroidism, which is the opposite of hypothyroidism, will occur when T3 is abused. The symptoms of hyperthyroidism include:
The increase of ATP and metabolic activity leads the body to burn fat. This is why bodybuilders use T3 as a part of their anabolic steroid stacks. Furthermore, T3 is popular among bodybuilders because it can help burn those stubborn 1 to 2% of body fat that won’t come off through just diet and cardio.
Another interesting property of Cytomel is that it can enhance growth hormone (GH) production. However, using Cytomel solely for this purpose is not recommended.
When used for treatment of hypothyroidism, the dosage will be determined on an individual level by the attending doctor. On the other hand, bodybuilders have several ways to run this compound, ranging from a very conservative method, to an aggressive method focusing on rapid weight loss. Cycle length is also a factor.
The conservative approach is 12.5-25 micrograms (mcg) per day (either single in the morning or split dose) for 4-6 weeks. This dosage will cause minimal thyroid suppression, as well as minimal side effects while on.
The more aggressive approach is 50-75mcg per day (usually split dose AM/PM) for 2-3 months. This approach may potentially cause side effects and suppress natural thyroid production. Therefore, post use supplement therapy is very important to help the body rebound quicker.
It is recommended to run T3 with anabolic steroids in order to avoid loss of muscle mass.
T3 is a regulator of the oxidative metabolism of energy. When you take liothyronine sodium it will increase the uptake of nutrients into the mitochondria, which raises activity in the oxidative metabolic pathway. This causes everything to work harder within the organism and makes the body demand more fuel.
Finally found a doctor to listen to my thyroid issues after searching for 16 years. I am starting to feel way better. I have lost 14 pounds at what is considered to be a healthy and safe rate. My periods are finally on schedule. The only side effect that I experienced was slight nausea if I didn’t take the medicine with at least 8 oz of water. I encourage anyone with thyroid issues to keep searching for a doctor that truly listens and will take the time to properly diagnose. I wonder if my thyroid removal surgery could have been prevented if I had found the proper doctor sooner. I will never be able to recoup all the years that I was feeling ill, but can now move forward and live my best life possible! Here’s to Living Again!
Mind Blowing results
Wonderful. I like everything related to T3. It’s wonderful.
Regular T4 Lythyronine was killing me with high blood pressure and cholesterol levels of 500 and gaining 40 pounds of weight So my thyroid doctor put me on Cytomel 8 tabs a day and all of my BP and cholesterol went down to normal, I am sleeping and my hair stopped falling out. No side effects for me. I have no thyroid ad this is the only drug I can take.
